Six Easy Pieces

Richard Feynman

Six chapters lifted from the Feynman Lectures on Physics: atoms in motion, basic physics, the relation of physics to the other sciences, conservation of energy, the theory of gravitation, and quantum behaviour. The first five were recorded at Caltech in September and October 1961 and the sixth in April 1962, and they were chosen because Feynman carries them almost entirely in words.

Why you should read this

A set of introductory chapters pulled from Feynman's original Caltech physics lectures, chosen for their accessibility to readers without technical training. It gives a flavor of his teaching style without requiring the calculus that runs through the complete lecture series.
